On January 25th the new spoof movie Meet the Spartans was released and it managed to even put a pummeling on the new Rambo movie by taking in $18.7 million in its opening weekend box office.  From the producers of Epic Movie, Scary Movie, and Date Movie, this latest offering in the lampoon series has all the makings for a surefire hit.  However, one of the best things about the movie is located on their website www.meetthespartans.com.

Once on the website, click on the Carmen’s Crush link and enter the first name, photo, and phone number of a friend of yours that you want to send a little love.  Once you’re done that, a video will play showing Carmen Electra giving an interview about the new movie Meet the Spartans.  Suddenly, Carmen starts talking about her personal life and her latest love interest.  As the interviewer probes for more, Carmen spontaneously mentions how she has a tattoo on her butt of her new love.  Don’t worry, it’s PG in nature!  As she shows the camera the tattoo, your friend’s name mysteriously appears on Carmen’s greatest asset!

Intrigued, the interviewer wants to know more about this new man in Carmen’s life, so she pulls out a photo album and shows him a picture of her love and, you guessed it, your friend’s picture miraculously appears in the photo album.  At the end, Carmen remembers that she needs to call her new love and leaves the interview.  Just at that moment, as your friend is watching the hilarious video, his phone will ring and he will be pleasantly surprised to find that Carmen has called to confess her love for him - as well as plug her new movie!

It is an amazing, fun, and entertaining marketing campaign that will have you sending it to everyone you know.
