Compressed Air Engines - The Future Of Cars?
My friend Mark sent me a link to an interesting video about the development of compressed air engines for cars. One of the profiled businesses expects to sell cars that utilize this technology next year in Europe. If that does prove to be the case, that is indeed quite impressive.
And as long as we're talking about alternative energy … my brother raised a question that I haven't seen addressed in the general media.
Namely, while hybrid cars certainly emit less pollution than regular cars, it's possible that they might not be any better for the environment.
How can this be?
It's because batteries are a much bigger component in hybrid cars … batteries need to be replaced … and discarded batteries are pretty bad for the environment.
Rick isn't saying that is the case but it's an interesting question … one that I'm not aware of anyone else asking …
