For the Disney Fan Who Has Everything
Disney has become an international obsession. From the movies to the theme parks, not to mention the television channels and the numerous businesses that fall under the Disney umbrella, there is not a single person in the modern world who can claim to be untouched by the Disney empire. While most of enjoy the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean or a visit to Walt Disney World, some fans take their dedication to a whole new level.
Within the Disney fan community, collecting is an extremely popular pastime. Pin trading has become a full fledged craze. Many fans dutifully return to the parks year after year, purchasing the latest and greatest version of Mickey ears or T-shirts stamped with the year of purchase.
Nothing, however, is more prized by Disney collectors than the Holy Grail of collecting, the chance to own a real piece of the magic. From a bedspread that was once used in a favorite Disney resort to an entire car from a retired monorail, Disney collectors love to own items that were once part of the Disney experience.
Enter MouseSurplus. This warehouse in Orlando has become the liquidation headquarters for all things Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. This is *the* place to go for major parts and pieces from across the Walt Disney World property. The business is actually bonded and insured as a salvage company, and has a deal with Disney to take whatever Disney doesn’t want in exchange for access to the prime pieces. Event-specific merchandise, furniture that is removed during resort remodeling, and worn out ride vehicles all make their way to MouseSurplus’s brand new warehouse. It is the stuff that they salvage from closed attractions that draws the biggest business, however.
If you will be in the Orlando area, be sure to stop by. Simply gawking at the scale of the building is a pleasant enough way to pass an afternoon, and searching through the treasures that Mousesurplus holds is simply mind-blowing. If you will not be in Orlando, visit MouseSurplus online at www.mousesurplus.com. MouseSurplus, and the prices commanded by its merchandise, truly proves the adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
