Learn a Little - Laugh a Little

We’re all interested in how the world around us works but we rarely have time to find answers to all the questions we have as we. A Moment of Science is a web site dedicated to many questions you may have that have scientific explanations.

The site is sponsored by the University of Indiana and the answers come from its research faculty. Their two-minute radio programs are broadcast on many networks for your dose of science. But the best news is that you can listen to previous broadcasts through their library of recorded vignettes any time you want.

Their recorded library has hundreds of interesting science tidbits with a touch of humor thrown in including such topics as: The Secret of M&Ms, Nanotech Couture, The Relationship of Memory and Imagination, The Male Fertility Clock, Fashion Tips for Lettuce.

You can listen on line or download podcasts for your later pleasures. There is also a text version if you prefer reading your science to listening. You can submit a question for their scientists to answer, if you do not find the topic you were wondering about. Or, just listen randomly to those topics with interesting titles. This site is fun and educational for the entire family.
