Rolling Stone magazine recently profiled some of the leading video sites on the net. Here's their list - with a few of their observations included.

In terms of ordering the results of your search, it ranks video from mainstream news sites the highest. If you're looking for legitimate news video, this can be handy.

Rolling Stone says that the best feature of the site are the personal channels that you can create based upon keywords.

This site gets thumbs up in terms of video quality.

Grouper

Grouper allows you to create your own groups and privately share your videos.

iFilm

Another site with high quality video.

Revver

According to Rolling Stone the most original thing about this site is their business model! It integrates commercials into the videos that you upload and shares the revenue with you. The amount of money you earn will obviously depend upon how 'viral' your video becomes. Rolling Stone reports that there are a few people earning thousands from this site. 

Shozu

This site makes it easy for you to upload photos and video taken with a cameral phone directly to other sites such as Flickr and YouTube.com - good for timely news.
